Beachcomber Horse Trails

Beachcombers Horse Trails offer  very scenic rides along the beach. The 1 ½ hr beach ride at Bushmans River goes through the small quiet village and onto the spacious beaches to Kwaaihoek and back a different route or directly onto the beach and to Diaz Cross and back again.

The 1 ½ hr ride at the Kenton Eco-estate goes under the R72, through the scenic estate , dune forrest and onto the beach and is usually a round trip if time allows with a different return route home.

The Sibuya game reserve ride is 2 ½ hrs. The trail moves through some of the best scenery that the Eastern Cape has to offer with many amazing views from the hills and valleys of the Kareiga River  teeming with game. .

The horses are used all year round and are fit and steady and are very happy to plod along with the nervous riders or take the more experienced riders on a good canter along the beach or the ride of their lives. Our aim is to leave our clients feeling that this was one of the best rides that they have done and to encourage new riders to feel safe enough to try it again.

We also offer a 2 or more night horse safari along the beach from Boknes to Port Alfred which includes the crossing of two tidal rivers.
